New BWM Motorcycle With 6 Cylinder Engine

MUNICH - Bayerische Motoren Werke, or better known as the BMW may have been famous for high technology innovation, both for cars and motorcycles. Recently, the German manufacturer has successfully applied the six-cylinder engine on two wheels.

As reported by the official website on Wednesday (11/11/2009) BMW Motorrad has decided to immediately bring the motor to the power production six-cylinder engine line up.

For now, BMW motorcycles called Cafe Racer style is called Concept 6. The number "6" indicates the number of cylinders on the iron horse.

But BMW gambot designed for the machine is 10 cm thinner than the six-cylinder engine available. Engine capacity is estimated at 1600 cc with a torque that can be achieved approximately 130 Nm at 2000 rpm.

The design is deliberately made so that the front longer than the stern. This trait, BMW designers said, is a typical cafe racer-style motorcycle classic.
