JAKARTA - Responding to market needs Multi Purpose Vehicle (MPV) is increasingly bloated, PT Toyota Astra Motor (TAM) finally released the 1300 cc Avanza with automatic transmission.
TAM as the previous holder of car Toyota Avanza has been presented for automatic 1500 cc engine variants. And now the same type of transmission present in the 1.3-liter variants.
Combined data refers Motor Vehicle Industry (Gaikindo) in October 2009, Avanza MPV ruled the domestic market with total sales last month as many as 9693 units.
While for Avanza with automatic transmission itself, the demand from month to month throughout the year continues to increase. Special for October 2009, TAM managed to dump 391 Avanza 1.5 automatic. Even sales of these cars had skyrocketed in June, which had sold 498 units.
With the presence of the automatic 1.3 Avanza Toyota will increasingly rule the family vehicle segment which is also filled by Daihatsu Xenia, Suzuki APV, and Nissan Livina
